The town of Squamish is in between the mountains and the ocean, and right at the base of the Howe Sound bay. We are surrounded by some of the most breath taking views on the Coast of B.C. The word Squamish is actually a loose adaptation of the indigenous people of the area, Skwxwu7mesh and meaning 'mother of the wind, people of the sacred water.' Our town is actually named after the river that runs from the mountains down to the ocean, and for the constant wind that sweeps through our lands.
When we shot this mini lookbook we were right in the midst of the tail end of a tropical storm, it was spontaneous, windy and the rains held off just long enough for us to snap a couple of pics!
